(Washington, DC) Arizona State University’s International School of Biomedical Diagnostics and G2 Intelligence, a division of Plain Language Media, LLLP, today announced a new research, publishing and distribution alliance to advance the scientific study and real-world commercialization of the diagnostic industry.
The partnership between ASU’s International School of Biomedical Diagnostics and New London, Connecticut-based G2 Intelligence, one of the leading information service providers in the diagnostics industry, includes applied research initiatives; industry education; training initiatives and jointly-planned and -programmed conferences and events. The partnership was announced at G2 Intelligence’s 33rd annual Lab Institute conference, convening in Washington, DC, Oct. 14-16, 2015.
“We are very pleased with the opportunity to work together with G2 Intelligence to further develop our relationships with experts and leaders in biomedical diagnostics. One of our first initiatives is to build the industry’s most comprehensive knowledge database,” said George Runger, Director of ASU’s International School of Biomedical Diagnostics.
The effort capitalizes on ASU’s internationally recognized educational programs in Biomedical Diagnostics as well as Informatics and on G2 Intelligence’s long-standing connections with and service to the key leaders, lab organizations and service providers in the biomedical diagnostics universe.
“This research and education alliance will enable the School’s programs, ideas and graduates to impact the marketplace faster than ever,” said Mara Aspinall, industry veteran and co-founder of ASU’s International School of Biomedical Diagnostics. “This is another example of how our School is uniquely positioned to identify, train and educate the next generation of leadership in healthcare, specifically within the diagnostics industry,” Aspinall added.
